Weird but took awhile for the rapture of hitting 18 to sink in. Btw I'd like to thank all those who gave me cards and -cough- books and wishes and especially to yichooon who gave me a bday tribute on his blog. YOU GUYS ALL ROCK MY SOCKS MAN.

Woohooo was kinda nonchalant bout my birthday (5july, Thurs IF U DIDN'T KNOW) but only now, 3 days after that grand event, did i realise being 18 can be kind of cool, sorta like a rite of passage? No more sneaking in to watch M18 movies, buying beer LEGALLY blabla

Oh anyway I'M FINAlly bACK TO WOW AGAIN!? after six long frustrating months of literally NO GAMING at all. The entire prob was due to my bloody graphics card (which i changed, 8800 gts if y0u must know..). GUess what i went all the way to the manufacturer Ban Leong and POW, repair's gonna take 1month?! Apparently they're sending the card back to Taiwan to get it checked. Warranty? F*ck warranty. OH and what's more amusing is the replacement gfx they gave me lol. Ok it's the size of your everyday TV remote..the fan on it is about the size of 1.5 thumb, and i think if i ran the 1990 version of pacman on my comp, it would lag horribly. Yup this rocks. -caressess 8800gts-

Nyway, jiayou to TKD exco 2007!!! It's obvious you guys are totally kickin' (no pun intended) ass and smokin' hot! You're gonna be one of the best exco's ever, seriously.

Awaiting : prelims/ The life of a Singaporean is a boring one. Wld rather plough the fields and feed the animals on a farm in New Zealand. Life's good.. :)

It's been eons since I last blogged and heck did I choose a good day to "re-blog". Bio's tmrw, LAST PAPER. Rejoice for now. Sob later.

Needless to say, chem and math was really hopeless. Seriously no point studying at all. Really makes me wonder if A's are really almost as hard as the bloc papers and if there is an absolute need to tweak the papers till an omnipotent state. Testing our skill is one thing, being practical is another. Ahh heck..back to respiration..-breathes- (Ooh i generated ATP molecules! 36-38 per respiration cycle if you want to dwell upon figures :D)

One and a half. Time galloped. Sped past. Our term is now over.

To the new EXCO as well as all jnrs, g'luck for all your competitions and trainings ahead. Always remember that EXCO member or not, you have your part to play in the development of the club. Being a member does not render you powerless. NEVER forget that you progress AS A CLUB, not individually. :)

(Below lies my lame tkd life story. The more important message is the one above :)

Usually, came to training not only for the "roughin" up but for the company as well. Though we may not get to train as a whole j2 clan anymore, that sense of belonging still lingers.

I enrolled into tkd at a tender age of 14, brimming with passion. To confess, my passion died down after I obtained my black in January, 2006. Trainings were a drag, the fuel had died down, flames of passion extinguished. I had no sense of direction, no goals. From a psychological perspective, I was shrivelled like a prune.

Mid-yr I ran for EXCO, something which I found worth fighting for. Mind you, I was slogging it out for the post, not for the sport. My ardor for the post was insufficient to rekindle tt passion i once had. Then came the hand-over day. To blurt out bluntly, I got whipped. I did not, or rather failed to execute the skills that I had attained over the course of 2years. I was down but not out and i resent the fact that this trashing had not occured earlier. From then, I knew what I had to do. New goals, new meaning to my life.

Then came the eoy holidays, the time during which the club really bonded. It was during the course of Open House preparations that strong bonds were forged. I made new buddies, borne indelible memories. It was the defeat as well as these comrades that refueled my burning desire for the art.

The moral here, being that friends are ALWAYS important to keep you in the game. A rather trite remark but from experience, I gaurantee its complete authenticity.

Abhor bastard reporters who sensationalize stories just to boost viewership. Pity the dad who, appallingly, had to beg for the victim's forgiveness. Laments at the pea brained kid who lacks self control, though sympathetic because his life is probably in shambles right now.

Hmm exco interviews on Sat was fairly rewarding..hmmm okay a weird expression to use but yea kinda amazed at how competant the exco runners are this year. We're really spoilt for choice. Big dilemma...

Anyway shout out to liwen. Hope your leg heals asap!! And nxt time pao3 bu4 xiao3 xin yi dian leeh.... :) The incident that day made me realise how important it was for one to know First Aid and it was really uncanny how a FA class was going on DIRECTLY BELOW the scene of the accident. Real lucky! Or else we might have been stranded there for hours with her writhing in pain or something. :( Okay super random.

p.s when you are damn frickin' tired and have no clue of a fitting title, just name it "untitled".

Spent over 12hrs (yes wtfck) at bedok sports hall. Seriously 98% of the time = waiting, fooling arnd, malaysian joking etc. Our moments of glory lasted no more than 1min on the mats, clearly accentuating upon e phrase (which joon mentioned earlier on sat) tai shang yi fen zhong, tai xia shi nian gong. Ok this prob doesn't really fit in the context but yea...nvm...Oh did i mention contestants had to face off with not one, not two, not EVEN three, BUT SEVEN judges!? yea...results were fantastic for both juniors and seniors. I won't really touch on the issue of fairness because i think in every comp there's definitely bound to be some form of bias demonstrated but overall, i feel that the comp this yr was fairly fair (hoho...compared to the previous yrs, this here comp seems to be the very epitome of impartialism) Okay i shan't dwell on the unfairness/fairness part lest i want *jc ppl knocking on my door asking me for some public apology...

How WE ALL wish it were SPARRING and not pattern comp instead. Seriously, things would be much different. Notice i never announced any definite results. Well, you'll just have to wait for our morning announcement on e bridge if ur interested. Whatever the case, I'd say this was an enriching experience in a way...i guess. Did i mention, a CERTAIN coach from a CERTAIN jc requested for a combined sPArring camp with our coach, Mr Guna? THanks for the free moving live targets. You're gonna need all the bandages and deep heat sprays you can get your crummy lil' paws on.

A shout out to all tkd-ian competitors : For those who achieved exemplary results, grats! For those who achieved less than they shld have, don't give up becuz from this wk onward IT'S S****ING MANIA BABY! As i had mentioned umpteenth times, you guys have rellie showed gr8 dedication and fortitude this time round, really(!), compared to e previous yr. Rellie proud of every tkd-ian and frankly spking I, as well as e seniors, believe tt the j1's this yr could very well tip the winning scale toward our end in the nxt patterns comp. Cheers!

My title doesn't even make sense. Just a random word i cooked up. exactly 9hrs before the start of the comp. Here i am er..."meditating", trying to sync my bio rhythm with my pattern movements. I know previously there was all this hype about winning and thrashing *JC but now that i think of it...winning doesnt really seem to be the main deal of this lil cherade anymore.

OKKk I know I'm biting my own tongue but really, my eyes were probably clouded by the desire to win (who doesn't want to?) but now i realise there's more to winning. It's all those times, the bonding and the interaction between team mates, club mates during e intensive trainings that really matter.

Forlorn, bereft of love and the senses five. I defintely have not made a lackadasical attempt to reach that medal, though, now hours before the comp i feel that i have lost all hope to win. I just wanna get this over and done with. Hmm...even so, for my team m8s whom i have suffered with, I shall relinquish tt fury passion and burning desire after a gd night's slp.
Once again, i find myself not making ANY SENSE at all. Pray for e best and a BIGBIG thankew to those who have encouraged and wished me. You guys/gals rock big time man :) oh btw SHALL UPLOAD PIX OF COMP

p.s like omg la notice the tone, mood and writing style of my blog from start to end. ZERO consistency la..I shall learn to be emo THROUghOUT like shenny and not have a tidal wave of emotions :P then again maybe not. :PP
